Description

Pull-apart bread is a soft, shareable loaf made of buttery, doughy layers that can be easily torn apart by hand. Often flavored with garlic, cheese, herbs, or cinnamon and sugar for a sweet version, it’s perfect for gatherings, offering a warm, comforting treat that's both fun and flavorful.

  1. Preheat Oven
    1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Prepare Butter Mixture
    1. Melt the butter in a small pot. Mince the garlic and finely chop the parsley. Stir both into the melted butter along with the salt.
  3. Shape Dough
    1. Roll out the bread dough into a rectangle approximately 1 cm thick. Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the dough.
  4. Create Bread Pieces
    1. Cut the dough into small squares, each about 5 cm wide. Stack them vertically in a loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
  5. Add Cheese
    1. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the stacked dough.
  6. Bake Bread
    1. Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Cool Bread
    1. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before serving.
